Excellent service from start to finish. We agreed the price over the phone beforehand, and there were no hidden extras or additional charges afterwards. Stephen was friendly, chatty and professional throughout. Really pleased with the service and would definitely recommend SF Fretwell & Sons Locksmiths in Rotherham.

If you need a reliable locksmith in Rotherham, I would definitely recommend S Fretwell & Sons. Stephen responded quickly, was professional, friendly, and clearly knew his trade. He soon repaired our uPVC window after it had become jammed shut and wouldn't open. Excellent service, fair pricing, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Brilliant service from Stephen at S Fretwell & Sons. The job was completed quickly, professionally, and at a much lower price than I'd been quoted elsewhere. Excellent value for money, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a reliable locksmith in Rotherham.

Super Service from Stephen. Completed work to high standard, lovely and chatty. A pleasure to have him complete the work. We’ve now got a door that closes smoothly.

We called the Locksmith after struggling with a stiff uPVC door that was difficult to lock. Steve arrived promptly, carried out a full check of the mechanism and clearly explained what was causing the issue. Rather than pushing for a full replacement, he repaired and adjusted the existing parts, saving us money. The door now locks and unlocks smoothly, and the whole job was completed efficiently with no mess left behind. Honest advice, quality workmanship and fair pricing.

Excellent service from Stephen. He quickly identified the issue with our door lock and recommended a more secure lock Communication was great throughout – he even texted to say he’d be slightly delayed. The repair was carried out professionally and with real care. He cut extra keys on site and made sure each one worked perfectly in both sides of the lock. He also adjusted the door alignment so it now opens and closes smoothly. Friendly, knowledgeable and very fairly priced. Highly recommend if you need a reliable local locksmith.

Prompt service, friendly and very efficient. Would highly recommend

I was recently burgled and needed to find a local locksmith in Rotherham. This was on behalf of my elderly father. After ringing a couple of other companies, which were obviously big National ones, I found S Fretwell & Sons. Their phone manner immediately put my mind at rest, and I knew I would be able to trust them. I was given a price over the phone to have three uPVC door locks upgraded to anti-snap versions. Stephen arrived on time and did not change the price that I had been quoted. Very pleased with the service and friendliness of this company and would recommend them to anyone

Same day service and at the price that was quoted. Efficient and polite. Fixed the broken multi-point door lock and made adjustments to get it locking correctly. Would recommend!

Prompt, professional, friendly service.

I phoned Stephen and he said he would be there in 40 minutes. He was on time and told me what was needed. Job done in about 20 minutes. Stephen was quick, efficient, and friendly. At a reasonable price, I would recommend him to anyone.

The issue was a broken gearbox on a closed uPVC door, with concerns that a second door was close to developing similar issues. Stephen arrived quickly at the time advised. Quickly solved the problem, opening the stuck door and replacing the broken parts, adjusting the door to prevent future issues, and carrying out the same on the front door. Both doors feel like new! The work was completed in record time and to a high standard. I would definitely recommend and use again.

Called after my lock jammed and couldn't get into my house. Very professional service, Stephen was there within the time stated. Hopefully I won't need him again, but I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know. Excellent service and a good price.

Reasonably priced, friendly, efficient service. It's so nice to find a reliable tradesman you can trust. I would definitely recommend Stephen.

A professional and fast service. Changed my locks in no time. Highly recommend.

Our lock was completely broken, my fella tried to sort it but couldn't get it to work. We called Stephen out at 8:30 am, and he was here before 10:00 am, really friendly, and had a laugh! Explained what needed to be done, along with the prices, and the work was done in less than an hour. We now have a more secure lock and a secure door. Fantastic job, highly recommended.

A fantastic service from Stephen as always!
